Jiaxing Airport

Jiaxing Airport is predicted to serve the public in 2021. According to the plan, the passenger throughput in Jiaxing Airport will meet 1.45 million person-times per year and the cargo will hit 550,000 tons each year in the first phase. After completion, passengers can get to Jiaxing Airport from downtown Jiaxing in just about 1 hour and passengers in Wuxian City, Huzhou City and Wujiang District in Suzhou can set to Jiaxing Airport 1.5 hours before the flights take-off. Besides, the air ticket fare will be lower than that in Hangzhou and Shanghai.
 

Location

Jiaxing Airport lies in Honghe Town, Xiuzhou District, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. It is about 10 kilometers (about 6.2 miles) from downtown Jiaxing.
 

How to Get to Jiaxing Now?

 Step 1: Fly to Hangzhou Airport
Hangzhou Airport, about 80 kilometers (50 miles) to Jiaxing City, has three terminals: T1&T3 for domestic flights and T2 for international and Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan flights. Cooperated with domestic and international airlines, it runs flights to/from major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Xi’an, Chongqing, Hong Kong, Macao, Taipei, Sydney, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Roman, Seoul, Osaka, Singapore….

 Step 2: Take Airport Intercity Buses to Jiaxing
You can take intercity buses heading to Jiaxing Coach Station or Jiaxing West Coach Station at Hangzhou Airport, which departs at 08:50, 09:50, 11:00, 12:10, 13:20, 14:20, 15:20, 16:20, 17:30, 19:20, 20:20 and 21:30 each day with ticket price of CNY 54. The travel time of the whole journey is about 1 hour and 50 minutes.
 

 Step 1: Fly to Shanghai Pudong International Airport

 Step 2: Take Airport Intercity Bus to Jiaxing
There are 8 buses each day from Pudong Airport to Jiaxing Coach Station which depart at 10:20, 11:50, 13:40, 15:10, 16:30, 17:35, 18:55 and 20:20 with the ticket price of CNY 70 and travel time of 3 hours and 15 minutes.
 

 Step 1: Fly to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport
Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport with the code of SHA has built business relationship with major Chinese airlines and international airlines like Japan Airlines (JL), Korean Airlines (KE), Hong Kong Airlines (HX), Macao Airlines (NX)… and runs flights to/from Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Sanya, Lanzhou, Xiamen, Changsha, Chengdu, Chongqing, Xi’an, Nanjing, Kunming, Macao, Hong Kong, Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo…

 Step 2: Travel from Airport to Hongqiao Railway Station
Take subway line 2 or 10 at Terminal 2 and get off at Hongqiao Railway Station. This method take you about 10 minutes and CNY 3. If getting to Hongqiao Railway Station by taxi, you will spend about 20 minutes and CNY 25.

 Step 3: Take Trains from Hongqiao Railway Station to Jiaxing
There are more than 100 high speed trains from Hongqiao to Jiaxing South Railway Station each day operating from 06:40 – 22:05. You can book second class seat at CNY 38.5, first class seat at CNY 61.5 and business seat at CNY 115.5. The duration is about 35 minutes.
