How to Travel from Zhangjiajie to Guilin
Zhangjiajie to Guilin distance is as long as 700 kilometers (435 miles) in all. No direct flights are available. One direct bullet train runs daily with a duration of about 7 hours. A train transfer in Changsha is the second choice, taking about 7 hours and CNY 250 - 253.
If you miss the only one Zhangjiajie - Guilin high speed train, then a train transfer in Changsha is needed.
Zhangjiajie - Changsha Train
From Changsha Railway Station to Changsha South Railway Station, passengers can take Changsha Metro Line 2, taking only 20 minutes and CNY 3.
Except for these transfer plans, there are other train transfer routes, but they are not recommended here for relatively long duration.
From Zhangjiajie to Yangshuo, passengers can firstly take Zhangjiejie to Guilin bullet trains and then take the Guilin to Yangshuo high speed trains to get to Yangshuo. Over 20 Guilin to Yangshuo high speed trains are running, taking about half an hour and CNY 22 - 30.
Or take a direct bus from Guilin North Railway Station to Yangshuo West Street where you can take the Li River Cruise. The bus runs during 06:50 - 19:30 and takes CNY 45.
Step 1: Take trains to Guilin North Railway Station.
Step 2: From Guilin North Railway Station, take bus no. 1, 100 or 83 to Guilin North Bus Station. Take the non-stop bus at Guilin North Bus Station to Longsheng Bus Terminal, taking CNY 40-55 and 1.5 hours.
Step 3: Walk southward for a few minutes and transfer to Longsheng - Heping Bus Line to Heping stop, get off and walk for 0.6 miles to Longji Terrace Fields.
