Puer Simao Airport

It was officially opened to traffic on March 15, 1961. The apron area is 15600 square meters, with 3 aircraft stands. It has a runway of 2500 meters (2734 yards) in length and is available for Boeing 737 and smaller aircrafts to land. The flight zone is 4C grade and the terminal covers an area of 5,382 square meters.
 Puer Airport is situated at No.123, Si’ting Road, Simao District, Puer City, Yunnan Province, 4.5 kilometers (3 miles) away from the downtown Pu’er.

 Puer Airport cooperates with China Eastern Airlines (MU), Sichuan Airlines (3U), China Southern Airlines (CZ), Chengdu Airlines (EU), Lucky Air (8L), and Chongqing Airlines (OQ).

 1: China Puer Tea Exhibition Garden

Built on the Yingpan Mountain, it is 29 kilometers (18 miles) away from the downtown area. Core tourism area is composed of nine parts, such as tea-picking zone, Tea making workshop, Pu’er Tea museum and so on. Tourists can fully experience the fun of watching, picking, making, eating, tasting, worshipping and buying tea.

Sea clouds is a unique and fascinating natural landscape of Awa Mountain in Ximeng County. It is ever-changing, very spectacular. After the clouds disperse, the dragon bamboo, terraced fields, green pines, plantain trees, and bamboo houses in villages look even more fresh and beautiful among the lofty mountains.
