Lincang Airport

Lincang Airport was originally built in 1998 and formally opened to navigation in March, 2001. It presently covers an area of 294 hectares (726 acres), including a parking apron of 8000 sq m, a terminal of 3290 sq m (0.8 acre) and a runway of 2,400m (2625 yards) in length. It is capable of handling such large planes as Boeing 737 and smaller aircrafts.

Located in Shuangjiang County, Lincang City, it has the scenic area of 23 square kilometers, with water area of 1.668 square kilometers.  2: Mengwang Pagoda and Northwest Pagoda
Mengwang Pagoda and Northwest Pagoda is located in Linxiang District, Lincang City. First built in 1621, it is good-preserved and with high artistic value and has been an important place for local Buddhist activities. It is an organic combination of Dai culture and Han culture, reflecting the highest achievement of architectural art and religious culture in the Ming dynasty (1368-1644BC). It is the evidence for the study of history of Buddhist, nationality and architectural art, and witnesses the ethnic cultural exchanges in the southwest frontier of China.
