Turpan Airport is built in the place with lowest altitude in China.
Location: With a distance of about 500 meters (550 yards) to North Railway Station, Turpan Jiaohe Airport is in the northwest of Gaochang District, Turpan City Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
