Xi’an Dang-dang trolley sightseeing buses put into service now that can meet tourists’ demands better. There are ten sightseeing buses with two operation routes in total, covering popular scenic spots in the city such as Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, Qujiang Pool Park and Cool Cave Heritage Park. In addition, Xi’an dang-dang sightseeing bus is famous for its ancient outlook, such as the locomotive headlight, brown leather seats, retro lights and red-brown wood floors. They are all new energy vehicles. To meet the demand of tourists, each seat is equipped with an USB to charge the phone and an eight-language audio guide to help foreign passengers understand easily. An interactive exploration area has been set inside the sightseeing bus for passengers to experience the steering wheel and instrument panel of former buses. There is a commentator on every bus to explain the culture and history of Xi’an and introduce the special snacks along the way. Behind the driver is an electric city map of ancient Chang’an. Now, passengers need to buy the ticket on the phone. In the future, face recognition and code scanning will be applied.

Line 1 (Night Tour): This sightseeing bus line mainly passes some well-known scenic spots in Qujiang New District, a new development area of culture and tourism in Xi’an. Along the line, you will feel both the ancient charm and the modernization of the city.

Route: Yongxingfang – Bell Tower & Drum Tower – Nanmenwai – Xiaozhai – Datang Tongyifang – South Square of Giant Wild Goose Pagoda – Great Tang All Day Mall – Qujiang Pool Park – Qujiang Cool Cave Heritage Park (Han Yao)

Line 2 (Food Tour): Linking the two famous food courts in Xi’an, this sightseeing bus line is a nice choice for travelers who want to taste local foods.

Route: Muslim Quarter / Bell Tower – Yongxingfang
Length: 17 kilometers (10 miles)

Line 3: This line is a direct bus to one of must-sees scenic spots in Xi’an - Terracotta Army. For tourists, it definitely be a convenient way with a special experience by taking dang-dang sightseeing bus.
