Originally built in 1949 and after expansion in 2013, Kinmen Airport currently has a terminal of 10,593 square meters (12,669 square yards), a runway of 3,007 meters (3288 yards), and a gate position of 47,100 square meters (56,331 square yards), which can land 9 aircrafts such as MD-90 or A321 at the same time.  1: Kinmen Folk Culture Village
Kinmen Folk Culture Village, located in Shanhou Village, was built in the 26th year during the reign of emperor Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1636-1912). It consists of 18 grand and tidy buildings in traditional southern Fujian style which is regarded as a representative work of traditional Chinese architectural art. The cultural relics, etiquette, festival, leisure, martial arts and production fully show the local folk custom. There is also an ancient official residence, where tourists can enjoy the beauty and elegance of the architecture.

 2: Kinmen Island
Kinmen Island is the main island of Kinmen County. It is located in the east of Xiamen Island and looks like a butterfly spread its wings. There are many gentle hills and the highest Taiwu Mountain has an altitude of 253 meters (353 yards). Full of beautiful and quiet scenery, Kinmen Island remains many ancient houses, including Juguang Tower, Zhaishan Tunnel, and Shuitou ancient houses.

 3: Juguang Tower
Juguang Tower, located in Jinmen County, was designed by the famous architect Shen Xuehai and built in 1952 by the Kinmen defense commander Hulian. The majestic and extraordinary building is an imitated palatial architecture with blue tiles and red pillars. It is used to honor soldiers stationed in Kinmen and promote the spirit of national reunification. The people of Kinmen say that one who does not visit Juguang Tower cannot boast that he has been to Kinmen. It has always been the theme of Kinmen stamps and picture postcards since its completion, and is regarded as the symbol of Kinmen.

 4: Kinmen National Park
Founded in October 1995, Kinmen National Park is the sixth provincial park in Taiwan. Covering an area of 3780 hectares, it has various wild animals and plants such as otters, aquatic birds, turtles, and mangrove forests. It also served as an important battlefield for several wars in the past. It remains many traditional architecture in southern Fujian style and represents the first provincial park in Taiwan which gives priority to maintain the historical and cultural assets, campaign commemoration, and natural resources conservation.
