Dazhou Baijie Airport

As a substitute of Dazhou Heshi Airport, Dazhou Baijie Airport will be put into use in the late of 2019. And then Dazhou Baijie Airport will be the largest airport in northeast Sichuan Province, covering Dazhou, Wanzhou, Guangan, Ankang, Hanzhong, Bazhong, Nanchong… Dazhou New Airport or Dazhou Baijie Airport will be designed to meet the passenger throughput of 840,000 person-times and the cargo of 8,000 tons. The runway will be 2,600 meters (2843 yards) in length and 45 meters (49 yards) in width. It will construct 8 apron seats serving as general aviation stands at the same time. Terminal building area, freight area, production auxiliary facilities area, living area and three other areas constitute the whole terminal area whose total coverage can reach 2,757 mu.
 Dazhou Airport is constructed in the border of Baijie Town, Shiban Town and Jinya Town, Dachuan District, Dazhou City, which is about 19 kilometers (about 12 miles) from Dachuan District.
 The current plan of scale for terminal is 9,000 square meters (10760 square yards) and it will be expanded to 34,000 square meters (40660 square yards) in the long-term schedule.
 
 Step 1:Fly to Dazhou Heshi Airport
About 12 kilometers (around 7.5 miles) from downtown, Dazhou Heshi Airport cooperates with Air China (CA), China Eastern Airlines (MU), Sichuan Airlines (3U), Tibet Airlines (TV), Beijing Capital Airlines (JD), China Express Airlines (G5) and operates domestic flights to 13 destinations including Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Shanghai, Kunming, Quanzhou, Chengdu, Lhasa, Hangzhou, Xi’an, Haikou and Sanya.
 
 Step 2:After arriving at the airport, you can go to downtown Dazhou by city bus line 302 & 303.
