Chengdu Long-Distance Bus

Road transport plays an important role in Sichuan Province so that a number of long-distance bus stations have been built in Chengdu, capital city as well as transportation hub of Sichuan. Here below are some of major and frequently used ones.

 Xinnanmen Bus Station (Tourism Bus Center)
It plays a role as a Tour Bus Center of the city and provides service to renowned scenic spots, including Jiuzhaigou, Leshan Giant Buddha, Sanxingdui Musuem, etc.
Chinese name: 新南门汽车站 (xīn nán mén qì chē zhàn)
Location: No.57, Linjiang Road, Xinnanmen, Wuhou District

 Chadianzi Bus Terminal
Buses here mainly run to Tibetan areas in west and north Sichuan, as well as famous scenic spots like Songpan Ancient Town, Four Maiden's Mountain, and Xiling Snow Mountain.

Location: No.289, Fifth Section, West Third Ring Road, Jinniu District.

 East Railway Station Bus Station
This is the supporting station of Chengdu East Railway Station. Transfer passengers of that railway station are recommended to arrive or depart here. Currently, it has buses to Gonglai, Dayi, Xinjin, Pujiang, Pixian, Xindu, Xichang, and Anshun, etc. It also operates buses to scenic spots like Mt. Emei, Jiuzhaigou and Mt. Qingcheng.
Chinese name: 东站汽车站 (dōng zhàn qì chē zhàn)
Location: South Side, East Square of East Railway Station
Transportation: subway line 2 (East Railway Station)
Opening Time: 07:00 – 19:30

 Airport Bus Station

Airport Bus Station

Located just inside Shuangliu International Airport, it is a transfer station for flight passengers. However, it has been closed for upgrading since Jan. 1, 2023.
Chinese name: 机场客运站 (jī chǎng kè yùn zhàn)
Location: Between T1 and T2 of Shuangliu Airport
Transportation: metro line 10

 North City Bus Station
It has buses to Dujiangyan, Xinjin, Gonglai, Pujiang and other cities in Sichuan like Deyang, Mianyang, Ziyang, Leshan, Meishan, Yibin, Langzhong, etc.
Chinese name: 城北汽车站 (chéng běi qì chē zhàn)
Location: No.85, North Second Section, Second Ring Road
Transportation: Bus no. 9, 15, 17, 24, 27, 33, 34, 54, 65, 73, 86, 95, 650, Night Line 3, 4 &9; subway line 1 (North Railway Station)
Opening Time: 06:00 – 20:00
Tip: This station is only about 1,094 yards (1000 meters) away from Chengdu Railway Station. Passengers who arrive at or depart from Chengdu Railway Station are advised to make a transfer here rather than other coach stations.

Tianfu Airport Coach Station
Tianfu Airport Coach Station opens 14 passenger lines. They are Jianyang, Zigong, Deyang, Rongxian, Lezhi, Anyue, Suining, Renshou, Neijiang, Zizhong, Meishan, Mianyang, Nanchong and Leshan.
Chinese name: 天府机场长途客运站 (tiān fǔ jī chǎng cháng tú kè yùn zhàn)
Location: Between T1 and T2 of Tianfu International Airport
Transportation: metro line 18 (T1 & T2 of Tianfu International Airport)
Opening Time: 9:00 - 19:30

 North Gate Bus Station
It mainly operates buses to south and northeast Sichuan, including Zigong, Yibin, Zhongjiang, Santai, Shehong, Yanting, Nanbu, Langzhong, Bazhong, Xindu ...
Chinese name: 北门汽车站 (běi mén qì chē zhàn)
Location: No. 195-197, North Fourth Section, First Ring Road
Transportation: Bus no. 1, 32, 64, 80, 28, 34, 113, 154, 1020, 1120, G57 Night Line 3&11; subway line 6 (Liangjiaxiang Station)
Opening Time: 06:00 – 19:30
Tip: As the station is located in an urban area, it usually takes more time to reach the highway. Hence, it is advisable to take buses from other stations if there is any.

 East City Bus Station
Buses to counties and towns in Meishan, Jianyang and Leshan like Renshou, Wengong, Qingshui, Wangyang, Fujia, Zhangjia, Shijian, Hejia, Lujia, Guanyin, Jingyan, Zhenjin, and Sancha are available here.

Location: Second Section, South Third Ring Road, Jinjiang District
Transportation: Bus no. 3, 50, 65, 90, 137, 238, 352, 407, 899, G84
Opening Time: 06:30 – 18:50

 Shiyang Bus Station
Buses here mainly run to south and southwest Sichuan, including Ya’an, Leshan, Muchuan, Mabian, Jinyang, and Yushu, etc.

Location: No.58, Shiqiao Road, Wuhou District

 Zhaojue Temple Bus Station
Named so for it is located beside the front gate of Zhaojue Temple. Built as a supporting station of Chengdu-Mianyang Highway, it operates buses to Mianyang, Deyang, Suining, Guangyuan and Nanchong.
Chinese name: 昭觉寺汽车站 (zhào jué sì qì chē zhàn)
Location: No. 88, Zhaoqingheng Road, Jinniu District
