Best Way to Travel between Shenzhen and Xiamen

With a distance of about 578 kilometers (360 miles) on the map between Shenzhen and Xiamen, taking high speed trains is the best and the most convenient method for passengers to travel between these two cities, which takes 2.5 to 3.5 hours with the fare of CNY 182 - 230 for Second Class Seat. Travelers can also choose to take Shenzhen - Xiamen long-distance bus. It takes 7 - 9 hours for a single trip and costs CNY 260 per person. Currently, there is no direct flight operating between Shenzhen and Xiamen.

→ Walk northward to take city bus no. 32 Xiamen University (South Putuo)

 From Xiamen North Railway Stations: 70 minutes, CNY 8
→ Take metro line 1 at the railway station to Zhongshan Park, take Exit 4
→ Take city bus no. 100 on the east of the exit to Xiamen University (South Putuo)

 Tip: From South Putuo Temple,  passengers can take the city bus no. 47 to Baicheng Beach within 25 minutes after 3 bus stops.
