How to Get to Shanghai Expo from Neaby Cities
Hangzhou – Shanghai Expo Hangzhou South Bus Station has regular shuttle bus to Shanghai East Bus Station (Pudong Bailianjing Bus Station) which is only 50 meters away from Entrance/Exit 5 of Expo. The bus will make a stopover at Shanghai South Railway Station. Passengers to Xujiahui and Shanghai South Railway Station can take this bus too.

Expo Special Bus from Hangzhou South Bus Station to Shanghai: 06:00,06:20, 06:40, 07:00, 07:30, 08:00, 08:30, 09:30, 10:30, 11:30, 12:40, 13:30, 14:30, 15:30, 16:20, 17:00, 17:50, 18:30, 19:30, 20:15.

Notes:
1. Both of the one-way and the round-trip Expo Special Bus ticket can be bought 5 days in advance at the No.12 ticket window of Hangzhou South Bus Station. They also provide Expo ticket booking service.
2. Valid identification document, such as ID card and passport, is required for purchasing the bus ticket.
Hangzhou Huanglong Tourist Center has bus to P16 (Parking Lot No.16) of Expo. Passengers can book ticket at the tourist center in Huanglong Road 5-10 days in advance. The fare includes Expo ticket, bus and guide.
Ticket and Pick-up Point: Huanglong Tourist Center, 3 Huanglong Road, Hangzhou
Drop-off Point: P16, Expo, between Shangnan Road and North Changqing Road entrances/exits
Time of Departure: 06:30 at Huanglong Tourist Center (07:00 at Wushan, 10 Huaguang Road), 20:00 back to Hangzhou from P16
Cost: CNY229 on Wednesday, Friday; CNY239 on Saturday, Sunday
Nanjing – Shanghai Expo
Nanjing Zhongyangmen Bus Station has direct Expo Special Bus to expo every day. Detailed information is listed below:
Time of Departure: 05:30 from Zhongyangmen Bus Station; 20:00 back to Nanjing
Pick-up Point: Ticket Gate No. 9, Zhongyangmen Bus Station
Drop-off Point: Shanghai East Bus Station (Bailianjing Bus Station), nearby P4, P5 of the expo park
Ticket Price: CNY68
Time Duration: 4 hours
Notes: The Information Counter in Zhongyangmen Bus Station offer Expo ticket service and inquiry. Visitors can buy bus ticket together with Expo ticket paying CNY150. This is also a good choice for those who haven't had an Expo ticket yet.
Suzhou – Shanghai Expo
Suzhou has special bus and direct buses to expo. Ticket reservation is accepted one month ahead of time.
Expo Special Bus:
Time of Departure: 06:30 from Suzhou South Bus Station to P20, 100 meters from Houtan Entrance/Exit; 20:00 back to Suzhou from P20
Ticket price: CNY80
Time of Departure: 06:00 from Suzhou North Bus Station, 06:30 from Suzhou South Bus Station to P16 of the expo park; 20:00 back to Suzhou from P16
Ticket Price: CNY208 in weekdays, CNY228 in weekends, CNY278 in special days (including bus shuttle, expo entrance ticket, guide and travel insurance)
Taicang – Shanghai Expo
Pick-up Point: Taicang Bus Station, 107 North Taiping Road, Taicang City
Drop-Off Point: P20, nearby Houtan Entrance/Exit of the expo park
Time of Departure: 07:30-08:00 leaving when the vehicle is full from Taicang Bus Station
Time Duration: about 1 hour
Ticket Price: CNY 210 (including bus shuttle and expo entrance ticket)
Apart from these cities, there are many other cities nearby Shanghai operate buses from local tourist centers to Expo (P16) site. Visitors can make inquiries at these centers for time, ticket price, etc. Usually, they offer bus service in one day tour style. The cost should include expo ticket, which means you had better to make reservation in advance (Expo Special Bus mentioned above is only bus shuttle fare).
