Shanghai Weather in June

Summer clothes are suitable for the climate of this month. Cool clothes, such as T-shirts and shorts, etc, are recommended. Another advice is to choose light-colored clothes which absorb less heat than dark-colored ones. You may need long-sleeved shirts to cope with frequent rains.

In the morning, the weather is not very hot, so you can choose Yu Garden as your first destination. Rocks, pavilions, ornamental ponds and flower walls are all very attractive. Then you can go to the nearby City God Temple where a lot of snacks are waiting for you. In the afternoon, when it is hot, Ocean Aquarium is worth visiting. You will be amazed by this blue world. All kinds of delicious foods are available in Yunnan Road which is not far away from the Ocean Aquarium. In the evening, Xin Tian Di which houses international galleries, bars and cafes, boutiques or theme restaurants, really deserves a careful visit.

The strong sunshine with ultraviolet rays do harm to heath, so wear a hat outside. Avoid the hottest period (12:00 - 14:00) in case of heatstroke. At the same time you can carry sunstroke prevention medicine, such as cool and refreshing oil and mint cream. Drink some light salt water. Do not eat too much at one time in case of diarrhea.
