Shanghai Weather in July

Summer clothes which are thin, air permeable, soft and light-colored, such as light-colored shorts, T-shirts, skirt, etc, are recommended to deal with the heat. Prepare some spare clothes for rainy days. 

Shanghai is known as a Shoppers' Paradise. July is a good time for shopping, when the biggest discounts are offered. Qipu Road is famous for clothes of low price and various distinctive styles. Countless famous brands, superior quality, and new fashions can be found on Nanjing Road and Huaihai Road. You can have a good knowledge of Shanghai’s prosperity by shopping. Do not bring too much cash when shopping, and always keep an eye on your belongings on the crowded streets.

In the afternoon, when the climate is not so hot, you can visit attractions of Pudong area, such as the Oriental Pearl Tower, Jinmao Tower, and World Financial Center. Standing on the towering viewing platform, the whole city will be under your eyes.

In the evening, it is pleasant to take a walk on the Riverside Avenue. Also you can take a boat on Huangpu River, enjoying the beautiful night scenery.
