Nanchang Changbei International Airport is located in Xinjian County, about 11 miles (26 kilometers) north of downtown Nanchang, and about 20 minutes’ drive from city center.
 As the largest airport in Jiangxi Province, Nanchang Airport has 76 flights and operated its first international air route in 2004. The airport is capable of handling 2,000,000 passengers per year and 1,100 at peak hours.
 Nanchang Airport now is connected to over 20 domestic cites, such as Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Xiamen, Xi'an, Kunming and Nanjing. This airport also offers international air routes to Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok, etc.
