Nanjing Ma'an International Airport

Ma’an International Airport, the second international airport in Nanjing, is built to mainly serve the northern part of Jiangsu Province and northeast part of Anhui Province. It  serves as a  military airport, and will be open to civil airlines in the future .
 

Location

 Ma’an Airport is located in Ma’an Street, Liuhe District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province which will be about 50 kilometers (31 miles) away from downtown Nanjing.

The outlook of the terminal is like a flying swallow with Departures Hall and the Arrivals Hall is the front.
 

How to Travel between Ma’an Airport and Downtown Nanjing

1: City Bus Line 676

Route Airport – Fuxinglu Zongzhan North – East Airport Road Fuxing Road – East Airport Road Zhanqian Road – Fangzhou Square East (Transfer to metro line S8)

2: Metro

According to the plan, a metro line will be built to link Ma’an Airport and Lukou Airport. Besides, metro line 14 will be extended to Ma’an Airport.

How to Travel between Lukou Airport and Downtown Nanjing

1: Airport Shuttle Bus

From airport, there are two lines to Nanjing Railway Station and Hexi Wanda Plaza separately and the latter stops at Nanjing South Railway Station. The operation hour is from the landing of the first flight and the ticket fare is CNY 20.
 
From downtown, there are there shuttle bus lines connect the airport with Nanjing Railway Station, Nanjing South Railway Station, Hexi Wanda Plaza and Airport Hotel. Buses from Wanda Plaza and Nanjing Railway Station operate from 04:30 – 21:00 with a frequency of 30 minutes. Airport shuttle buses from South Railway Station run from 07:00 – 21:00.
 
Also, passengers can take shuttle bus to transport between the airport and Arcadia International Hotel in Jiangbei New District with a fare of CNY 50.

Famous Attractions in Nanjing

1: Xuyuan Garden
Located in the Presidential Palace of Xuanwu District, Xuyuan Garden is a well-preserved garden in southern China style of the late Qing dynasty (1636-1912). It has an area of only 1.4 hectares, but the water area occupies more than half of the whole garden. In the garden, the flowers and trees are flourishing, the pavilions are well-arranged, and the pool is like a long-necked vase. The quiet atmosphere attracts numerous tourists wondering in it.

2: Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum
It is located in Purple Mountain in the east suburb of Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, covering an area of 80,000 square meters (about 20 acres), The majestic construction inside the Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum was started in 1926 and completed in 1929. With deep historical significance, magnificent architecture and beautiful scenery, it is a must see when visiting Nanjing.
