Lianyungang Huaguoshan International Airport
Lianyungang Huaguoshan International Airport will be the second international airport in Lianyungang, and the third-largest international airport in Jiangsu Province, east coast of China. It starts to build in February, 2019 and is expected to be opened in 2020. According to the plan, it will build a runway of 2,800 meters (3062 yards) and 16 aircraft stands. The predicted passenger throughput is about 2,500,000 person times. The airport avenue will also be put into use together with the airport.
It will be located in Xiaoyi Village, Guanyun County, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province. It will be about 20 kilometers (about 12 miles) southeast of downtown Liangyungang and about 30 kilometers (about 19 miles) southeast of Flowers and Fruits Mountain (Huaguoshan).
There are 2 terminals for domestic and international flights with an area of 30,000 square meters (35,880 square yards).
After completion, it will set VIP Lounges, nursing room, shops and restaurants and other basic facilities in the terminal.

Compared to Baitabu Airport, the first airport in Lianyungang, Lianyungang Huaguoshan International Airport will be closer to downtown Lianyungang. And then, airport shuttle bus, metro, airport expressway and comprehensive passenger bus terminal will come into being.

Route: Lianyungang Huaguoshan International Airport – Yingbin Ave. – Kongwang Mountain Road – Haining Road (transfer to line S2) – Hailian Road (transfer to line 2) – Middle Jiefang Road – Lianyuangang Railway Station (transfer to line 1)
There are two railway stations in the city: Lianyungang Railway Station and Lianyungang East Railway Station. The former one is in downtown area and city bus line 2, 4, 8, 11, 15, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23, 116, 117, 119, 122, 603 are available in the railway station. It has trains to Beijing, Shanghai, Jinan… East Railway Station, about 20 kilometers (12 miles) to the city center, is in near the port of Lianyungang and operates trains to/from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Wuhu, Xuzhou…passengers can take city bus line 36, 52, B12, B13, Tourists Bus Line 3 & 6 to travel to other places from East Railway Station.

How to Travel to Lianyungang Presently?
1: By Air
In Lianyungang, Baitabu Airport serves the public now. It is about 30 kilometers (18.5 miles) to downtown. It has opened more than 35 air routes and operates both domestic and international flights to/from Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Xi’an, Bangkok, Osaka, Shizuoka, Jeju… After arrival, passengers can go to the downtown area by airport shuttle bus which operates from 08:00 – 19:30 with a fare of CNY 20 and a duration of 1 hour and 10 minutes. Taking a taxi to the city center takes about 50 minutes and CNY 80.
