Changsha Long-distance Bus

Changsha has 5 main long-distance bus stations and the long-distance bus routes cover not only places within Hunan Province like Zhangjiajie, Fenghuang Ancient Town, but also places in surrounding provinces such as Nanning, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. In addition, the Changsha long-distance bus can reach as far as Xi’an, Guilin, Quanzhou, Lianyungang and other big cities in China.
 

Overseas passengers can purchase Changsha long-distance bus tickets with consulate card, foreigner’s residence permit, and foreigner’s entry-exit card issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China or simply passport at the departure bus station at most 10 days before departure. The acceptable payment include cash, Ali-Pay and Wechat payment. When purchasing tickets on behalf of others, one needs to show both his/her and the passenger's valid ID. Children under 1.2 meters (4 feet) and do not occupy a seat are free of charge. Children who are 1.2-1.5 meters can enjoy 50% discount on ticket price. Tickets are also available on the official website lc96228.com; but it only has a Chinese version.

Chinese Name: 长沙汽车南站 (cháng shā qì chē nán zhàn)
Changsha South Bus Station is an important transportation hub in Changsha. Its bus routes cover over 50 cities in 9 provinces and about 10 cities and prefectures within the province. Passengers can also take a coach from this station to Changsha Huanghua International Airport, Changsha South Railway Station, Changsha Railway Station and other transportation hubs in the city. There are currently 10 manual ticket windows in the station. More than 20 self-service ticket machines are on the opposite and outside of the manual ticket windows.

It is very convenient to reach the Changsha West Bus Station by city bus. Visitors who want to buy tickets or collect tickets purchased online need to go to the first floor of the transfer building. There are convenience stores, shops, restaurants and luggage handling areas on the first floor.

The Changsha Changzhutan Bus Station is conveniently located on the opposite of the Changsha Railway Station.

The Changsha Lituo Express Bus Station is seated on the south side of the west square of Changsha South Railway Station. Its two underground floors are connected with the underground floors of the Railway Station. The ticket hall and waiting area are on the first floor.
