Shennongjia Hongping Airport

Location: The airport is located in Hongping Town of Shennongjia Nature Reserve, Hubei Province, 50 kilometers (30 miles) to tourist center in Muyu Town and 70 kilometers (43 miles) to the Songbai Town where the government of the district lies.
Terminal Building: Shennongjia Hongping Airport has one terminal building only with Arrivals Hall and Departures Hall. It has two boarding gates in total in the east of the terminal building.
 

Open Time for Check-in: 90 minutes before the flights depart
Close Time for Check-in: 30 minutes before the planes take off
Close Time for Boarding: 15 minutes before the flights departure
 

Counter No. 1: Passengers with gold card or silver card of Eastern Miles, Platinum Card, taking business class or special passengers can check in in the counter No. 1.
Counter No. 2: This counter is set for common passengers.

Note: No counter provides ticket-selling service, so please book online or book at ticket outlets in advance.
 

There are three airport companies providing service for Shennongjia Airport in total which are Chongqing Airlines (OQ), China Eastern Airlines (MU) and Sichuan Airlines (3U).
 

Destinations of Shennongjia Hongping Airport include Chongqing, Wuhan and Shanghai only.

Tip: If you want to travel to Shennongjia Nature Reserve, please take the shuttle bus to Muyu Town at first. Then you can transfer to the coaches to the secnic spots in Nature Reserve.

VIP lounge
The lounge is located in the southwest corner in 1F of the terminal building where passengers can enjoy snacks and drinks. Besides, it provides TV and WIFI.  

Smoking Area: In the southern part beside the waiting lounge.

First Class Lounge: It is to the west of the waiting lounge which provides snacks, drinks, WIFI and reading area.

Dine: The restaurant is in the west of the terminal building.
 
Shop: Two of the shopping areas are to the west and east of the waiting lounge separately, the third one is in the southwest of terminal building.

Police and Medical Center: In the east of Central Hall.

Special Service: For passengers with mobility difficulties, the airport will provide wheelchair. For passengers losing their eyesight, the airport will provide accompanied service.
