Local Taxi

Whenever you travel around Guangzhou, you can easily find the taxi and go to the destination you want to go to because there are over 20,000 taxis in service day and night. Each car can carry four adult passengers. The official taxis are in different colors, operated by different taxi companies, amongst which the Baiyun and Guangjun Taxi Groups as well as Guangzhou Transportation Group enjoy the best reputation. Taxi the three main groups are respectively in blue, yellow and crimson. You can also find some green and golden taxis in town, which are operated by other small Guangzhou taxi companies.

Water Bus

In Guangzhou, the water bus is a convenient transportation mode besides bus, metro and taxi. Currently, there are 10 water bus routes operating now. About 30 docks and 50 passenger ships are in service. 

Many tourists choose to enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the Pearl River by water bus because compared with the Pearl River Night Cruise, the cost is much cheaper. For convenience, the water bus company installed GPS automobile station reporters at different piers. In this way, passengers could know the arrival time of these water buses. This kind of transportation is quite popular.

After getting off the ship, remember to go to the market near the wharf to taste the local food or walk around casually to feel the rhythm of life in this city. Don't miss the hot destinations nearby, such as the 1850 Creative Park at the Fangcun Wharf, the Shamian which is full New Baroque and Chinese-Western style architecture at Huangsha Wharf, Mansion of the Canton Customs, the oldest existing customs building in China at Xidi Wharf and the Beijing Road Pedestrian Street at Tianzi wharf.
