Baiyun District is affiliated to Guangzhou City, Guangdong China. It is located in the northern part of Guangzhou. Guangzhou Baiyuan International Airport is located in this district. Baiyun District connects Zengcheng District on the east, Liwan District, Yuexiu District, Tianhe District and Huangpu District on the west, Huadu District and Conghua District on the north. With the famous Baiyun Mountain in its territory, Baiyun District Guangdong is full of lush trees and the urban green coverage rate is 43.4%, which is one of the areas with a good natural environment in Guangzhou.

The average temperature is 21-23℃ (69.8-73.4℉). The average temperature in July is about 28℃ (83℉), and in January is about 13℃ (55℉).
 

The summer from June to August is not hot but with more rainfalls. And between July and October, there is more typhoon.

Located in the north of Guangzhou City, Baiyun District is with convenient transportation. Travelers can choose to take a flight to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport first, and then take airport bus line 1 to Baiyun District. Taking trains to Guangzhou North Railway Station is another choice, because it is very close to Baiyun District. There are also many bus stations almost extending to all directions including Luochongwei Bus Station, Guangyuan Bus Station, Xiamao Bus Station and other stations.

Within the city area, a variety of transportation options can be chosen. Metro Line 2 and Line 3 are in service. Many bus lines are in service every day. The taxi charges CNY 12 for the first 3 km and CNY 2.6/km for subsequent distance. It costs CNY80-100 from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and CNY 90-100 from Guangzhou North Railway Station to the central district.
