Xiamen Metro Line 1

Xiamen metro line 1 covers a distance of 30km (19mi) between Zhenhai Road and Yannei with 24 stations along the route. This south-north metro line serves the Siming, Huli and Jimei Districts. It also passes through transport hubs in the city including Xiamen Railway Station, North Railway Station, Wucun Bus Station and Gaoqi International Airport.

The coastal terrain of this region means that the Xiamen subway line 1 crosses the sea, becoming a rapid link between Xiamen Island and the Jimei Area. The operating hours are from 06:00 to 22:30, with duration of 50 minutes for a single trip. According to the long-term plan, the phase two of Xiamen rail transit line 1 will cover 15km (9mi) via 7 stations.
