Dongfangqishi Horse Riding Paradise, about 40-minutes driving distance from Tiananmen Square, is a tourism village combining accommodation, dining and entertainment. There are over 60 horses in Dongfangqishi Horse Riding Paradise, including Erie horses from Russia and Sinkiang (Xinjiang), New Kirghizia horses and well-bred horses. Tourists arriving here have a chance to choose a good horse and gallop on the track. Additionally, various activities are frequently held, such as horsemanship training, horse-riding hiking, camp-fire parties and others.

Beijing Wildlife Park is divided into a viewing zone, an entertainment zone for animals playing, a science and education zone and a children’s zoo. The zoo has gathered 10,000 rare animals of 200 species, including 42 foreign species. Golden monkeys, giraffes, Siberian tigers (Northeast tigers), Mandrillus leucophaeus, red -crowned cranes and others animals can be found here. Besides, everyday tourists can watch animals’ various performances, including beasts fighting, sea lion dancing and others.

China Printing Museum was built in 1996 and rebuilt in 2001, covering 8,100 square meters (9,687.5 sq yd) at present. The exhibition hall of the museum is divided into an Ancient Hall, a Modern and Contemporary Hall, a Printing Equipment Hall and an Integrative Hall. Additionally, some special topic exhibitions are frequently held, such as Printing Display of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, Money Printing Display, Stamps Printing Display and other displays.  

Beijing Elk Museum, covering 0.64 square kilometers (about 0.25 sq mi) was first built in 1985. It was a part of Nanhaizi Marsh Park in the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties for the royal family hunting. At present, there are over 130 elks and many other deer species, including white-lipped deer, spotted deer, red deer and others. The main displays of the museum are the Exhibition of Elks’ Life and the Grave Area of the Extinct Animals.

Transportation

Beijing Daxing International Airport is located at Lixian Town, Daxing District (south of Beijing downtown area). Railways lines connect there, providing easy access to Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and other cities. In addition, city bus lines such as Xing Line 23 & 27, six shuttle bus lines from Beijing urban area directly to this district. More than 50 highways in the district form a convenient communication net extending to every corner of the area.
