Located at the western suburban part of the city, Yangzhou Railway Station is about 8 kilometers (5 miles) from Slender West Lake, 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) from Ge Garden, and 50 kilometers (31 miles) from Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport.

 This station not only operates bullet trains to/from Nantong, Rugao, Taizhou, Jiangdu, Nanjing, Hefei, Wuhan, Chongqing, but also has normal trains to/from Beijing, Xi'an, Tianjin, Nanjing, Hefei, Zhengzhou, Shenyang, Changchun, Kunming and Guiyang etc.

  Covering an area of 20,240 square meters (24,200 square yards), Yangzhou Railway Station is made up of a two-storey terminal building and a front square.

Toilets, hot drinking water and escalators are provided on both 1F and 2F. Except a bakery, passengers can hardly find any other restaurants inside the station. They can go to the nearby Coach Station to buy fast food such as KFC or other snacks.

Located about 110 meters (120 yards) to the west side of Yangzhou Railway Station, Yangzhou West Coach Station sizes about 95,000 square meters (113,620 square yards) and has long-distance buses to/from Nanjing, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Qingdao, Yantai, Jinan, Wenzhou, Changzhou, Wuxi, Ningbo, Yiwu, and Beijing etc.

 Yangzhou Taizhou Airport
Take bus no. 88 to Lianzheng Square and then walk about 470 meters (510 yards) northwestward to City Airport Terminal to take the airport shuttle bus. The bus is available between 07:00 and 18:15 every 60 minutes.
