Xiong’an Railway Station

Xiong’an Railway Station is located northeast of Xiongxian County, 8 kilometers (5 miles) from central Xiongxian, 20 kilometers (12 miles) from Xiong’an New Area, and 40 kilometers (25 miles) from Baiyangdian Lake.

As the terminal station of Beijing – Xiong’an Intercity Railway and joint station of over 10 railways, Xiong’an Railway Station is the biggest high speed train station of Asia. It mainly operates bullet trains to / from Beijing and Daxing Airport, etc. The total travel time of Xiong’an to Beijing has been narrowed into an hour and the duration to Daxing Airport is about 30 minutes.

With an oval roof, Xiong’an Train Station looks like a water drop if viewed from above. Totally, it covers an area of 475,200 square meters (568,334 square yards) and its station building consists of five floors:
-1F: commercial development zone, metro station hall, bus terminal, coach station.
-2F: platform for Metro Line M1.
1F: ticket service center and ground waiting hall.
2F: platforms for trains and Metro Line R1.
3F: elevated overcrossing waiting hall.

The station is equipped with 11 platforms and 19 tracks. Drawing on the advanced experience of comprehensive transportation hubs at home and abroad, the station is a traffic integration for all kinds of transportation means including private cars, taxis, public buses and subways, enabling passengers to get on the train within 10 minutes and transfer to other transportation means without getting out of the station.
 

Long Distance Bus: There are direct buses to Rongcheng County and Xiongxian County. Those to Rongcheng County take about 35 minutes and the price is CNY 10/per person. And buses to Xiongxian County take about 15 minutes and cost about CNY 2/per person. 

Taxi: On both sides of the ground waiting hall are set with stops for taxis. It takes CNY 25 - 35 to downtown Xiongxian County and a single jourgey is about 15 minutes. The trip to Baiyangdian Lake is around 50 minutes and costs you CNY 90 - 100.
 

General Service Center offers services inlcuding enquiry, guidance, ticket changing, etc. Besides, there is Speical Passenger Waiting Zone which is also equipped with the wheelchair waiting seat, Nursing Room, Children's Entertianment Area,
 

There are also another two railway stations in Xiong’an New Area at present. One is Baigou Railway Station, located at East Wanghuai Village of Zhugezhuang Town in Xiongxian County. The other is Baiyangdian Railway Station, located at Rongcheng Town of Rongcheng County. There are direct trains from Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiahzuang and more to these stations.
