Shenzhen - Tianjin Train
The distance from Shenzhen to Tianjin is about 2,400 kilometers (1,470 miles). At present, two pairs of normal speed trains are running between Shenzhen and Tianjin, finishing a single trip in around 24.5 to 32 hours. The ticket fare of a hard sleeper is around CNY470 and a soft sleeper costs around CNY 732.5.

1. If go by high speed train as mentioned above, passengers need to traveling between Beijing West Station and Beijing South Station, the subway line 7 and line 4 are recommended with a transfer at Caishikou.
2. 4 pairs of trains between Shenzhen North and Beijing West are available every Friday to next Monday. Since it is a long journey between the two cities, traveling by air will be a good choice. In general, there are over 10 pairs of flights serving the tourists on usual days and it takes around three hours for a single trip and costs from CNY 800 to CNY 1,500 for one economy class seat due to different periods.

The K trains are operated between Shenzhen East and Tianjin Railway Station and the Z types are running between Shenzhen Railway Station and Tianjin Station. Both the two pairs are overnight trains equipped with sleepers. The Z trains are a little faster than the K ones. In addition, their fares don’t have large differences so that the Z type is more recommended.
Major stations along the way include Dongguan East, Huizhou, Heyuan, Longchuan, Dingnan, Longnan, Xinfeng, Ganzhou, Taihe, Ji’an, Xiajiang, Nanchang West, Jiujiang, Macheng, Huangchuan, Fuyang, Heze, Liangshan, Liaocheng, Hengshui, Renqiu, Bazhou.
