Shanghai - Huzhou Train
High speed trains are the only direct rail rides between Shanghai and Huzhou. Normal rides, including overnight sleeper trains are currently not available. For a short trip of 151 miles (243 kilometers), the ride only needs around 2 hours.
In fact, G7395/7397, G7319 and G7391/7393 originate and end at Shanghai Hongqiao Station and Nanjing South Station, while Huzhou Railway Station is an intermediate station with a stopover for 2-3 minutes only. Thus passengers are recommended to make preparation in advance and take all of your luggage with you before arrival.
Hongqiao Railway Station can be easily accessed by subway Line 2 and Line 10 and is connected with Hongqiao Airport by an underground passage. Other cities buses and taxi is also available. Huzhou Railway Station is a little far from the downtown area but there are buses heading there and Nanxun Ancient Town.
