Sanjiang South Railway Station

Located at the outskirts of Sanjiang Dong Minority Autonomous County in Liuzhou city, Sanjiang South Railway Station is about 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) from Sanjiang Wind and Rain Bridge, 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) from Sanjiang Drum Tower, 35 kilometers (22 miles) from Chengyang Bazhai Scenic Area, and 50 kilometers (31 miles) from Danzhou Scenic Area.

Sanjiang South Railway Station occupies an area of 5,000 square meters (5,980 square yards) and is equipped with 2 platforms and 4 tracks. There are 480 seats in the waiting zone and 4 ticket windows in ticket hall. It can serve 600 passengers during the rush hours.
 

1. From Duoye Square next to Fulu Temple and Sanjiang Drum Tower in town, there is a bus running to Sanjiang South Railway Station. The bus starts from 8:00 to 20:00 with an interval of about an hour. It takes you half an hour to get there and costs CNY 3.
2. Taxi fare form the county town to this railway station may not be charged according to the taximeter. Normally you have to carpool with others and drivers will charge you about CNY 10 to get there.
 

Usually, tourists need to get to the county town first and then get to other attractions. The most popular way from Sanjiang South Railway Station to the small county is sharing a taxi with others. It takes about 20 minutes and costs CNY 10 per person.

To Chengyang Bazhai Scenic Area:
Ask the taxi driver to drop you at Sanjiang County Renmin Hospital and then take bus no.5 to the destination. The bus takes about 50 minutes and costs CNY 3.

To Sanjiang Wind and Rain Bridge and Sanjiang Drum Tower:
These two places are close to each other in the county town. Just ask the taxi driver to drop you there.

To Danzhou Scenic Area:
Get off from the taxi at Hedong Coach Station. Then take a coach to Rong’an County. The coach runs every 30 minutes from 07:10 to 17:00 and costs CNY 24. Tell the coach driver to drop you off at Danzhou Scenic Area midway.
