Easy booking. Foreign passports couldn’t be scanned via e-gates, needs manual check at separate lane. Overall seamless, but needs to check the gate and timing constantly. Gates only open 15 min before departure but good to queue up earlier.

I was very impressed with the personal service I received in the Business class lounge at Guangzhou South Station, as a business class passenger, you get taken directly to your train carriage by a personal guide, you don't have to join the que and you don't even have to find your platform

I had a great experience with the China Train service. The team was very resolutive and issued tickets on time, even suggesting alternative options when availability was an issue. The trains are punctual, and the railway stations are impressive, well-marked, and efficient. Just remember to always have your passport handy, as it is checked before boarding.
