Kunming - Fuzhou Train

Currently, there is only a pair of Kunming - Fuzhou high speed trains. Both run between Kunming South Railway Station and Fuzhou Railway Station, for a distance of 2,092 kilometers (1,300 miles). Because of the long distance, it takes around 11 hours for a single-way trip. A second class seat costs CNY 806. Normal trains do not exist between Kunming and Fuzhou in Fujian Province. For passengers in urgent cases, flights might be a better choice.

 Currently, there are about 11 pairs of bullet trains between Kunming and Nanchang. All of them use Kunming South Station and Nanchang West station. Regarding the Nanchang - Fuzhou leg, there are 7-9 pairs of D-type & 13 pairs of G-type trains. Some trains stop at Nanchang Station. It’s better to choose trains arriving at / leaving from Nanchang West to avoid transferring between stations in Nanchang.

 There are 5 - 6 pairs of flights operating between Kunming and Fuzhou on daily basis. A full price ticket is expensive. While, there are always 20% - 80% off discount tickets.
