Gui’an Railway Station

The construction of Gui’an Railway Station is almost completed and will be the second largest train station in Guizhou Province and passengers can take high speed trains from/to Beijing, Shanghai, Kunming, Guilin, Chongqing, Guiyang, Changsha, Liupanshui, etc when it comes into service. However, the opening time is not decided yet but it should not be too far away.

Gui’an Train Station is about 38 kilometers (24 miles) away from Guiyang Railway Station, about 38 kilometers (24 miles) from Qingyan Ancient Town, about 14 kilometers ( 9miles) from Tianhe Pool and about 26 kilometers (16 miles) from Flower Stream Park.

With the help of these railway lines, Gui’an will be included into China’s high speed railway network and passengers can travel by high speed train also to/from Guangzhou in 4.5 hours, Guilin in 2 hours, Beijing in 9 hours, Chengdu in 3.5 hours.
 

Station Plan

Gui’an Train Station will be equipped with 14 platforms and 28 tracks. The terminal building including three storeys on the ground and two storeys underground. The interior layout of it will be as follows:
3 F: Waiting Hall
2 F: Platforms
1 F: Exits, City Bus Terminal, Coach Terminal
-1 F: Subway Station, Taxi Stands, Parking Lot
-2 F: Subway Platforms
 

Subway Lines Extending to Gui’an Railway Station: Line S1 and Line 5

Line S1 traverse through the downtown Guiyang from north to the south and some important subway stations on this line are as follows: Guiyang Train Station, Guiyang North Railway Station, Beijing Road, Lincheng West Road, Guanshanhu Park.

Line 5 is still under planning and the opening date is unknown.
