Guangzhou - Yiwu Train
A total of 4 or so bullet trains run from Guangzhou South Railway Station to Yiwu Railway Station daily and 3 vice versa; the duration is 6 - 7 hours. And there are nearly 5 pairs of normal types being operated between the two cities with duration of 14 - 19.5 hours.
Alternatively, traveling by flight will be a good choice for those who are pressed for time. It just takes about 2 hours, but it may cost a lot more than rail travel.
With a distance of 946 miles (1,522 km), the whole journey takes 6 – 7 hours or so. All of the high speed trains originate/end in Guangzhou, and Yiwu is just an intermediate stop with a 2 or 5 minutes' stopover. So you should pack your luggage in advance and listen to the broadcast notices carefully to make sure that you detrain or board in time.

Guangzhou South Railway Station is a little far from the downtown area, but transportation around is pretty convenient. City buses, taxis and subway line 2 can take you anywhere you want to go in the city. Comparatively speaking, Yiwu Station is just a small station, but both bullet and ordinary types to major Chinese cities are operated here. The station is about 7 miles from the famous International Trade City and you can take bus no. 801, 802 or 808 from the station to get there.
In addition to the above-mentioned two stations, they also pass by following stations:
Guangzhou North, Shaoguan, Yingde West, Chenzhou West, Leiyang West, Hengyang East, Zhuzhou West, Hengshan West, Changsha South, Pingxiang North, Yichun, Xinyu North, Gao'an, Nanchang West, Fuzhou [Jiangxi]East, Yingtan North, Shangrao, Yushan South, Jiangshan, Quzhou, and Jinhua
Four pairs of them are shuttling between Guangzhou Railway Station and Yiwu Railway Station with duration of 14 – 19.5 hours. Almost all of them just stop for 3 minutes in Yiwu. So move quickly to get off or get onboard in time.

Yichun
Yichun is a city in the northwest of Jiangxi Province. Originally established in Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD), the city bears a long history of 2,200 years or so. Travel there, you can visit the Yan Emperor Mausoleum, Shennonggu National Forest Park, Dajing Scenic Area (Zhuzhou County), Yunyang Forest Park etc. The city is also the traffic junction of Beijing-Guangzhou and Shanghai-Kunming Railways. You can take both bullet and ordinary trains to major cities nationwide from here.
