Chongqing East Railway Station

Chongqing East Railway Station, as the fourth biggest railway station in Chongqing City, following Chongqing Railway Station, the North Railway Station and the West Railway Station, has started to be built in the year of 2022 and will be open in the year of 2025. It is about 17 kilometers (11 miles)from Jiefangbei CBD and 37 kilometers (23 miles) from Ci Qi Kou.

 Once Chongqing East Train Station is open to the public, the transportation around the station will be improved for passengers’ convenience. Not only the trains, but also metro trains, city buses and taxis will be available.

With the building of the Chongqing East Railway Station, 4 metro lines: line 6, line 8, line 18, and line 27 will be responsible for passengers’ transportation to/from the station. Metro line 6 has been opened while metro line 8, line 18 and line 27 are still under construction.

These metro lines will also connect Jiangbei International Airport and other three main railway stations in Chongqing. Thus, passengers can travel between these transportation hubs by metro in the future.
 Located in Kunlun Avenue, Yubei District, this station operates both high speed trains and normal speed trains to/from Chengdu, Lanzhou, Shanghai, Lichuan, Suining, Zhengzhou, Beijing and Kunming.

The north railway station is the major train station in Chongqing. Different from other railway stations, the north railway station consists of two squares, the south square and the north squareand they are not connected with each other. Passengers need to enter via the right square to get on the train.

Passengers can take metro line 3 to get to the south square of the north railway station and take line 10 to go to the north square of the north railway station.
 Located in Shapingba District, the west railway station operates high speed trains to/from Chengdu, Suining, Lanzhou, Guiyang and etc.

Passengers can get to the west railway station by taxior by bus Z213, T033, 203, 213, 222, 325, 441, 473, 499, 526…
 Located in Caiyuanba, Yuzhong District, it operates normal trains to/from Chengdu, Guiyang, Lanzhou, Xiangyang… and high speed trains to Chengdu, Xiamen…
