On the Guangming Hill by Taohua River, Reed Flute Cave is an uncanny workmanship of nature. You will be surprised at it absolutely. Seeing exquisitely carved stalagmites, stalactite pillars, stalactite flowers, etc. in the cave, you seem to be in an underground palace, thus it has been regarded as the Palace of Natural Art.
The serried stalactites together with colorful lights will make you feel at a fairy tale land. These stalactites are variously shaped in lions, pagodas, crystal palace, virgin forest, waterfalls, and lush mountains. How amazing it is!
The wildest and the most beautiful part of Reed Flute Cave is the Crystal Palace. The stalactites overhanging on the ceiling of cave are like bright palace lanterns, making it seem to be a splendid kingly palace.
You can also appreciate the inscriptions in Reed Flute Cave. Since more than 1,000 years ago, not a few visitors came to the cave to enjoy the extraordinary natural art and leave 170 inscriptions there, including autographs and poems made by poets, Buddhist monks and other visitors.
