Madame Tussauds Chongqing

Madame Tussauds Chongqing is the first Madame Tussauds in southwest China. It is also the fifth in China after Madame Tussands Hong Kong, Madame Tussauds Shanghai, Madame Tussauds Wuhan, and Madame Tussauds Beijing, and has become the 20th Madame Tussauds in the world. Its exhibition area is about 2,000 square meters (2,400 square yards) and was officially opened on September 10, 2016. The exterior architectural style reproduces the unique historical features of old Chongqing. There are eight themed exhibition areas, which are spread over two floors.
 

World Premiere

In the exhibition area of Madame Tussauds Chongqing, you can immerse yourself in a movie scene and take a photo with your favorite movie actors or actresses. There is a classic scene of the famous British film actress Audrey Hepburn from the movie “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”. Also displayed are classic action depictions of Chinese Kung Fung star Jackie Chan.
 

TV Studio

Here you can be a reporter to interview celebrities. Whether you interview Hong Kong film actor Daniel Wu or American talk show host Oprah Winfrey, or the actor Jim Parsons, who has appeared in the American sitcom “The Big Bang Theory”, you could get applause for your reporting.
 

Music Icons

Among the famous displays are American dancer and musician Michael Jackson, American countryside music singer Taylor Swift, and Canadian singer Justin Bieber. You can get onto the stage to perform with them.
 

The Champions

Here in Madame Tussauds Chongqing, you can see the former British professional football player David Beckham, the Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, and Chinese basketball player Yao Ming.

How to Get to Madame Tussauds Chongqing


Location: Fifth floor of Landmark Riverside Shopping Park, Nanbin Road, Chongqing; about 10 kilometers (6 miles) from Chongqing Railway Station.
 
1. Take subway line 3, get off at Nanping Station, and go out from 5 to exit. Walk about 200 meters (220 yards) to the southeast, to Xiangshui Road Station, and then take bus line 373 to Nanbin Road Changjiahui Station.
2. Take tbus line: 373, 119, 338, 375, and t026, and get off at Nanbin Road Changjiahui Station.
 
Admission Fee CNY 150 for an adult;
CNY 120 for children between 1.0 meters (1.1 yards) and 1.4 meters (1.5 yards) and people older than 70 years old;
Free for children below 1.0 meters.
Visitors can get two-for-one discount on the purchase of CNY 150 tickets between 18:00-20:00 from Monday to Friday, except Chinese holidays.
